This small burnt oak tray/plinth has been designed with a slight elevation, so that it can be easily lifted. Perfect for serving or displaying small tea bowls or yunomi, or for serving small food bites like sushi etc.

We use the Japanese technique of shou sugi ban to burn the oak - this process brings out the grain and highlights any beautiful knots, cracks & imperfections and gives the oak it’s charred matt black look.

Made from sustainably sourced English Oak finished with a food safe oil
