we are a design/make partnership based on the North Devon/North Cornwall coast, creating objects, furniture and interiors for considered spaces.
our core design aesthetics are simplicity, minimalism, the enhancement of natural materials and the Japanese view of wabi sabi - an appreciation of beauty in imperfection.
focusing on making pieces with real intention, rooted in ritual and mindfulness, our work evokes a sense of calm and silence.
we carefully hand select all of our materials from locally sourced reclaimed and sustainable resources.
materials are chosen for their rawness, their scars, and for how time and the elements have effected them.
working intuitively with English hardwoods and British stones, sometimes incorporating steel and brass also, our pieces balance between the sculptural and the functional.
all work is designed and made by us in our workshop & studio in Welcombe.
