Beautiful circular slab plates handmade by our studio neighbours Popalini & Jezando.
Unglazed apart from the natural ash that accumulates in the kiln, leaving areas of metallic lustre. The slab plates are stacked with wadding which leaves beautiful scars and haloes on the surface.
Deep earthy red and brown tones with darker areas and some shiny lustre.
Perfect for serving wagashi or sushi, or as an incense plate.
