An exquisite tea from the beautiful tea boutique in Exeter, The House of Hope & Mercy in the Jungle. An organically grown sheng puerh from Ai Lao Mountain Range, Yunnan Province, China. Harvested in Spring from uncultivated older trees at 2200m altitude.

Large curled leaves with bright silvery tips and deep wood tones. Rich fruity notes and a beautiful warm gold colour. Suitable for drinking now or ageing.

100g cake - wrapped beautifully in handmade washi paper, hand painted and sewn by Jan & Pez at their tea boutique. Supplied in an airtight resealable doy packet.

7 - 9 grams per serving for Gong Fu style plus the leaves can be re-infused 4 - 6 times +
